Computer Graphics Research Project (USC Viterbi)
Program: Introduction to Computer Graphics Online Research Project Institution: USC Viterbi School of Engineering Advisor: Prof. Saty (DreamWorks Animation) Timeline: February 2025 – April 2025
An immersive online research program focused on industry-standard computer graphics tooling and the integration of AI-driven content-creation techniques into the classical graphics pipeline.
Highlights:
- Worked fluently with Blender, Maya, RenderMan, and THREE.js to create, rig, and render 3D assets.
- Explored how image, video, and audio generation models can complement traditional rendering, shading, and animation pipelines.
- Led a team to deliver the final project, producing both a structured oral presentation and a comprehensive written report.
- Wrote substantial sections of the technical documentation, detailing 3D modeling processes and rendering pipelines.
Research output: Towards Efficient LLMs: Analyzing Computational Bottlenecks and Optimization Strategies, accepted by AIDML 2025 (2025 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Database and Machine Learning).
